Thirty-six quarts canned and put away. This morning's harvest was only 1/3 of the previous harvest. I wonder if this picking corresponds to a heat wave months ago. When it's really hot the tomato flowers don't set fruit.

No worries, as there are still lots of green tomatoes and probably 6 weeks before first frost.

Alright, in November I think I bought a Chamomile plant on super sale. It was dying and 50 cents, and I thought, "What the heck!" I suck it in my garden and it's much healthier now, but I don't know what to expect. It's still short, like 3 inches... can I get my hopes up in seeing some little flowers or should I just sort of expect it to die? O_O

I like in the Mojave Desert, Zone 8B.

I sometimes let my weeds grow out because some of them are really interesting; and, sometimes things grow that just do not make sense. This is one of those plants, and I'd really appreciate any guesses on identifying this plant.

1. My initial guess is that this is some type of grass.
